The Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council has created a new way for travelers and other ride-seekers to find transportation alternatives. This secure, easy-to-use and FREE website provides information on smarter travel options - including carpooling, taking the bus/rail, and bicycling.
The main feature of this website is a carpool-matching program which allows you as a user to find ridesharing opportunities in the Erie and Niagara Counties area and beyond. Good Going lets you enjoy the advantages of sharing ride costs and the benefits of less stressful travel, while also reducing traffic congestion and pollution in this region.
Good Going further offers information on other travel choices - transit (Metro bus/rail), the location of park-and-ride lots, and bicycling. Just click on your preferred travel option; step-by-step instructions will guide you through the registration process and assist you in finding your personalized best alternatives.
You can also find carpool partners for special events that take place around this region, throughout the year. Click on the "Event/Trip Matching" button on your "My Page" to find a sample list of current special events. If you would like to have an event added to the list, please contact us to have it added.
Click on the "DEMO" button above to see a video that explains how Good Going works.
If you would like to find carpool partners within your own company or organization, encourage your employer/organization to register (it's free!) with this site's employer module. A designated representative from your employer/organization can find information about the module by clicking the link in the "For Employers" box on this page.
So log in if you already have an account, or create an account and click the "Find Ride Options" button on your "My Page" and let's Get Going!

This is a website that explains a carpool system in the Buffalo area. It also includes the option of renting things such as bikes or taking the bus...
