Mr. Beehler interview

So I contacted Mr. Beehler who is the assistant principal at East Middle. He is the Science coordinator for the district. He was explaining how he is organizing the"Green Movement." It's where we reduce negative impact that, we as the district, have, energy composition, types of energy use, waste we generate. Also, things we can do such as recycle (paper, glass, tina, plastic) and take the recycled material and find a way to clean it correctly. They are currently trying to find away. He also talked about how it was an obstacle to get the recycled material picked up and such. He also stated that you can be a role model and teach children how to recycle and help the environment. What are they doing specifically? He told me and they increased the amount of recycled goods, which reduced food waste. He also said they compost with worms (10-15 lbs of waste everyday.) This information that Mr Beehler had shared with me can be helpful in our project!
